Ponikva Memorial Park

The NOB monument is located in the Ponikva Memorial Park and on the 25th anniversary of Slovenia's independence, a tetrahedron (a former anti-tank barrier from the war for Slovenia’s independence) was erected with the inscription: "In memory of the victims of the war". A wide bench is also situated on the platform as in the past, where people can meet and sit with a view of the renovated water basin with a fountain. Water as a source of life completes the symbolic place of remembrance, and also represents the beginning of the Stanko Buser Karst Water Learning Trail.
