The long-time station master will guide you through the story, the original exhibits and photos, taking you through the history of the Southern Railway of Styria. The picturesque display of the reconstruction of the railway station will take you back to the time of the birth of the Graz-Celje railway line. The Museum of the Southern Railway of Šentjur is located at the train station.
The Museum of the Southern Railway of Šentjur complex is divided into individual units:
- Railroad switch station (Stellwekerken)
- Signalling and railway track devices
- Steam locomotive series 62 with steam power and machine shed
- Transport and telegraph office, personal photographs room “Captured moments along the Graz- Celje line”, spaces of the transport-handling services office and office of the museum’s manager in the restored original premises of the Museum of the Southern Railway Šentjur.
At the Winegrowers Learning Basement, located below the museum, visitors can taste the wines of domestic winegrowers.
