The House with tradition, Zdolšek, ensures a quality tourist offer to guests demanding privacy, comfort, authenticity and high quality of tourism services.
Our vineyard cottage, which is located a good five minutes of driving by car from the homestead and can accommodate up to five persons, is available for guests who want privacy, peace and rest. Guests can enjoy the nature, surrounded by vineyards and the view extending all the way to Donačka gora. There are many different types of activities, such as cycling, mushroom picking, picking medicinal herbs, or just walking amidst the beauties of nature for those who are more active and looking for
adventure. Guests also find it interesting getting to know the rural lifestyle. The nearby tourist centres, such as the Olimia Thermal Spa in Podčetrtek and the Rogaška Thermal Spa can make the visit to our farm even more interesting.
Tasting of still and sparkling wines grown and produced at the homestead in our cellar, as well as dry meat products and honey, is organised for large groups.
The activity at the homestead is directed towards arable farming, livestock production and wine-growing. The year 1824, printed on the stone entrance portal of the house, shows how old the house is. There are an enormous garden and an orchard in front of the homestead.
The elements of tradition, special character and homeliness, which leave a strong mark on the homestead, were a prerequisite for classifying the homestead in the European network of “Houses with tradition” in Slovenia.
Access to the homestead
The homestead can be accessed from several directions – leave the Ljubljana–Maribor motorway at the exit for Dramlje, then drive towards Šentjur and Šentvid pri Grobelnem, where you will see signposts; the other option is to drive from Celje towards Rogaška Slatina through Šentjur and Šentvid, where a signpost leads you to the Zdolšek homestead. The road leading to the farm is entirely asphalted.
